Thank you for taking the time to stop by New Life’s website. We want to answer the question: Why New Life for my student? We are here to prepare students for life in a rapidly changing world. James Harvey stated, “Schools have always been about developing students for life and work—and life is much more than earning a living; it is also living a life.”

Our priorities at New Life are four-fold:

We apply these four areas so that our students are creative, innovators, learn to think outside the box, have vision and imagination, and be inspired to lead.

Our teachers and staff are on the frontlines working with our students. We hire teachers that serve God and others, have a love for the students, are ministry-minded, and have the right skill sets and education to teach.

We are an extension of the ministry of New Life Church. We cooperate with the home to educate the student.

Our History
New Life Christian Academy was founded in 1979 as a ministry of New Life Church. Growing from an original class of six students., NLCA has remained true to its roots while moving ahead for God’s glory.
NLCA provides the River Region with a unique Christian school experience, having chosen to focus all its considerable resources and talents in training students K-4 through the eighth grade. These students receive a quality education that is fully integrated with God’s Word and Christian principles.
Because NLCA is a ministry of New Life Church, the church provides classrooms, utilities, equipment and other items necessary to the school’s operation with tuition and registration fees used as a supplement to the cost. Furthermore, it is the policy of NLCA to engage only personnel of Christian dedication, recognized educational training, and successful experience who will complement your child’s Christian home training.

NLCA accepts students regardless of race, color, national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students. It does not discriminate in admission policies, educational policies, athletic and other school administered programs.
